[FreeNX-kNX] NX as a display manager

Good morning

Is there a possibility to use the NX client (kNX or nomachine client) as a 
display manager? E.g. as a replacement for kdm.

I'd like to migrate a school in my village from MS Windows to a GNU/Linux 
solutation with a NX-Server and client with only a minimal GNU/Linux 
installation and an NX-Client which connects to the server.

I see a long winded solution: minimal GNU/Linux installation, auto-login for a 
certain user which autostarts the NX client without anything in the 
background.

BTW: Where can I find the kNX source?
