just to mention it, some sorts of netcat will block because EOF
is ignored while using input from STDIN. Using the netcat version
from SuSE 9.2 will work quite fine:

	ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/9.2/suse/src/netcat-1.10-867.src.rpm
