Alternatives to org.kde.plasma.desktop

Hi,

My study of Look-n-Feel has some progress. Now I can use my own
look-n-feel package to change the wallpaper theme and so on.

The next step is /usr/share/plasma/shells and
/usr/share/plasma/layout-templates, which define 1) Default desktop
plasmoids and activities, and 2) default panel layout. Now I know that
~/.config/plasmarc defines themes in /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme and I
can also define look-n-feel package to be used in the [KDE] section in
~/.config/kdeglobals. However I still couldn't find where to define which
plasmashell to use. I saw a ~/.config/plasmashellrc file in my home
folder, but again, I couldn't find *any* document describing the sections
and properties in plasmashellrc. Neither in userbase or techbase wiki,
even nor in the source code (I searched "plasmashellrc" in lxr.kde.org but
no any result.)

The layout-templates is also still in the same condition. I couldn't find
an alternative way instead of directly change the layout.js in it.

I wonder if it should work like this: /etc/kde5rc can define profile
folder (which would be prior to /usr/share/plasma) and my customization
should be set over there. It's just a guess, anyway I need help with this.

BTW, is there anyone looking at the XDG environment variable problems in
Kubuntu? I will be very appreciated if there's anyone working on it with
me together.

Thanks,
Franklin
