Next alpha release

Hello,

I would like to do a new alpha release that would include D9696 and D9777. As 
soon as they land, we would enable a string freeze where no changes to 
translatable strings would be allowed until the release is tagged.

Does 18/01/2018 sounds a plausible date for the string freeze ?
We would tag on 01/02/2018 for a release 3 days later.
