applications to SVG and other general improvements continues at a fast
pace. Work continues on video support in KPhotoAlbum
[http://kphotoalbum.org/]. Krita [http://www.koffice.org/krita/] gets a
new star shape tool. Okular [http://okular.org/] gets support for
freehand ink overlays in presentation mode. Kate
[http://kate-editor.org/] gets syntax highlighting support for
ActionScript [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actionscript] and RapidQ
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RapidQ] code. Mailody
[http://www.mailody.net/] continues to mature as an alternative email
client. Strigi [http://www.vandenoever.info/software/strigi/] refactors
to allow searching within multiple simultaneous indexes, with
preliminary interoperability with Akonadi [http://pim.kde.org/akonadi/]
on the horizon.
