   The Ark Linux [http://www.arklinux.org/] team is pleased to announce
the immediate availability of the KDE centric desktop distribution Ark
Linux 2006.1

including KDE 3.5.4, Amarok 1.4.1, Kopete 0.12.1 with a hotfix for
connecting to ICQ after the latest protocol change, a fully KDE-ified
OpenOffice.org 2.0.3, and X.org 7.1.1.  Another highlight in this
release is the KDE based "rpmhandler", a tool that makes installing 3rd
party packages easier than ever before.

     Ark Linux 2006.1 is available both as an installation CD and a Live
CD.

     Ark Linux is a Free Software project that exists and grows only
because of the help of many volunteers that donate their time and
effort. Ark Linux is always looking for new volunteers and
contributions, whether it is help with coding, bug fixing or reporting,
helping with support, writing documentation, translations, promotion,
