KOffice 1.4.2: Improved OpenDocument Support and Updated Karbon

   The KOffice [http://www.koffice.org/] team today announced the second
maintenance release
[http://www.koffice.org/announcements/announce-1.4.2.php] of the 1.4
series. Among various bugfixes and translation improvements, the KOffice
1.4.2 release further improves support for the OASIS OpenDocument file
format and interoperability with OpenOffice.org
[http://www.openoffice.org/]. Also, Karbon
[http://www.koffice.org/karbon/], the vector drawing application has
been much improved. More changes are listed in the changelog

packages

for Kubuntu and SUSE have been contributed and a Klik package
[klik://koffice] is being prepared right now for those who want to test
this release without installing it first (testers are welcome).
