Security: Advisories for KPDF, KOffice and Konversation
=======================================================
Three security advisories [http://www.kde.org/info/security/] have
been issued this week. The first two are due to a vulnerability
[http://www.idefense.com/application/poi/display?id=186&type=vulnerabilities]
that was discovered in xpdf [http://www.foolabs.com/xpdf/]. Both KPDF
[http://www.kde.org/info/security/advisory-20050119-1.txt] and the
KOffice PDF import filter
[http://www.kde.org/info/security/advisory-20050120-1.txt] include their
own version of xpdf and as a result they too will require some updating.
The third advisory involves Konversation [http://www.konversation.org/]
in which several security issues
[http://www.kde.org/info/security/advisory-20050121-1.txt] where
discovered.
