Quickies: Thesis about Kolab, Task Juggler IDE, Helix-Qt, Blast from the Past
=============================================================================

The Kolab project [http://www.kolab.org/] has published
[ftp://ftp.kolab.org/kolab/contrib/diplom_thetis_stoermer] a thesis by
Magnus Stoermer about Kolab the Free Software groupware solution.
Although the language is German it has a very liberal licence
[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/de/] which shouldn't stop
anyone from translating this publication. *** TaskJuggler
[http://www.taskjuggler.org/] has started a subproject called
TaskJuggler IDE [http://www.taskjuggler.org/ide.php] which aims to
replace ktjview. Check it out
[http://www.taskjuggler.org/screenshots_ide.php] and go fetch those
daily CVS snapshots
[http://www.taskjuggler.org/download/taskjuggler-cvs.tar.bz2] and start
participating in this project as a developer, tester or translator.
Everyone can help here as this improved KDE frontend to TaskJuggler is
also in need of a better name. *** A new page has popped up
[https://player.helixcommunity.org/2004/developer/qt/] at the Helix
Community website [https://helixcommunity.org/]. Are we going to see a
Qt frontend to the Helix Player which is currently using a default GTK
gui
[https://player.helixcommunity.org/2004/common/creative/screenshots/gtk_hxplay_m2_shot.png]?
*** In our section Blast from the Past someone showed me this page
[http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/6702/kmail.html] on IRC. Well
isn't that a spiffy KDE application?
