KolourPaint [http://kolourpaint.sourceforge.net/] is progressing
nicely as the latest version brings new icons
[http://kolourpaint.sourceforge.net/screenshot0_big.png] by Kristof
Borrey, a new user manual and numerous bug fixes and improvements.
While browsing at KDE-Look [http://www.kde-look.org/] I noticed this
howto [http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6332] for
making native KWin decorations. Now there are no more excuses for not
writing that decoration you always wished someone else would do!
Always wanted a cool KDE (Crystal) look 'n feel for your GTK-apps? The
crystalgnome.org [http://www.crystalgnome.org/] site released the Kids
icon set [http://www.crystalgnome.org/kidsicons.htm] for GNOME (KDE
version [http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=9144]) and is
also offering Crystal themes [http://www.crystalgnome.org/index2.htm]. A
project named Mozillux [http://www.polinux.upv.es/mozilla/] has a
similar goal, to integrate Mozilla [http://www.mozilla.org/] and
Firefox [http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/] better in the KDE
desktop. Looking for a cool real-time strategy game for KDE? Wait no
more, just [http://boson.eu.org/screenshots.php?show=44] check
[http://boson.eu.org/screenshots.php?show=43] out
[http://boson.eu.org/screenshots.php?show=35] Boson
[http://boson.eu.org/]. The Boson hackers recently released
[http://boson.eu.org/announces/boson-0.10.php] the latest version of
this game which has a feeling of Command&Conquer(tm) or StarCraft(tm).
The Opie Team just announced
[http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/News] the first public
release of the Opie 1.1.x branch - version 1.1.3. The Open Palmtop
Integrated Environment [http://opie.handhelds.org/] (Opie) is a 'fork'
of Qtopia environment
[http://www.trolltech.com/products/qtopia/index.html] developed by
Trolltech [http://www.trolltech.com/].
