Frisian People of the World, Unite!
===================================

   Rinse de Vries [http://people.kde.org/rinse.html], the coordinator of
 the dutch KDE translation group, reported about a new translation
effort [http://i18n.kde.org/teams/index.php?a=i&t=fy] they started.
Inspired by the project KDE op Platt [http://dot.kde.org/1075485586/]
they revitalised the idea of translating KDE to Frisian. Frisian is the
second official language spoken in The Netherlands by almost 350.000
people  (more info) [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friesland].  The
Frisian Team welcome every bit of help on this translation effort and
people who are interested can subscribe to the mailinglist
kde-i18n-fry at kde.org
[https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-i18n-fry].  Also www.kde.nl
[http://www.kde.nl/] hosts a  webpage [http://www.kde.nl/frysk/]
dedicated to the Frisian translation effort. Interested? Please contact
Rinse de Vries [mailto:rinse at kde.nl].
