PCLinuxOnline: The Free Groupware Killer Solution for SMBs
==========================================================
Under Windows there is the Outlook/Exchange duo. Under Linux there is
...? Evolution [http://www.novell.com/products/evolution/] is nice but,
correct me, it's not an easy task to find a *free* groupware server on
Linux where it connects to. On the other hand Kontact
[http://www.kontact.org/] connects to free groupware servers
[http://www.kontact.org/groupwareservers.php] like Kolab
[http://www.kolab.org/] only. After reading the manuals I think Kolab is
a PITA to setup. The recent Kontact version in CVS also connects to
eGroupware [http://www.egroupware.org/], a PHPGroupware
[http://www.phpgroupware.org/] fork. PCLinuxOnline
[http://pclinuxonline.com/] features a Howto about the setup
[http://pclinuxonline.com/article.php?sid=9068&mode=&order=0] of Kontact
CVS and eGroupware [http://stibs.cc/pics/kontact_egroupware.png].
