=================
At aKademy [http://conference2004.kde.org/] we got really cool
hardware
[http://static.kdenews.org/fab/events/aKademy/pics/debiancluster/IMG_0003.JPG]
from transtec [http://transtec.de] to accelerate the development by
shortening compiling times with icecream
[http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?page=icecream].
We did some quality tests for Debian and rebuild all Sarge packages
with 2 blades (Intel Xeon based systems) from transtec and sponsored HP
notebooks
[http://static.kdenews.org/fab/events/aKademy/pics/debiancluster/IMG_0002.JPG]
which were on daily use in the tutorials
[http://conference2004.kde.org/tutorials.php] and worked 2 days
compiling Sarge.
Diego Iastrubni comments: "It kicks ass, I have running 20 or maybe
even 30 processes of 'make', someone even compiled OpenOffice because he
was bored."
