if Kopete [http://kopete.kde.org/] satisfies his instant-messaging and
IRC needs and can replace the separate applications GAIM
[http://gaim.sourceforge.net/] and XChat [http://www.xchat.org/] he used
so far. He asserts that Kopete is a fine choice especially if you run it
under KDE and enjoy the good KDE  integration.
