Backporting of Discover/KNS fixes

Thank you awilfox, you are correct, we don’t package Discover, it makes no sense on macOS due to lack of backend to manage Homebrew packages.

Ben, I’m sorry that I didn’t answer on behalf of Homebrew-KDE. Actually I just forgot that we are one of registered packagers that have the access to embargoed tarballs, since I never got an announce email.
