Hey,

The latest 18.08 smb slave has the potential of crashing 100% of the
time on certain smb setups/configs. We advise that you cherry pick a
patch [1] into your packaging should you get reports about excessive
smb crashing, or just to be on the safe side.

Unfortunately this fix didn't make it into the latest release.
