New dependency for KPat

Essentialy, yes :)
It's a fine line we are walking and I'm not saying our decisions always make 
sense, but every time a new package would need to be added we look at the 
general use of that new package, and several criteria might decide if it goes 
in or not.

Anyway, I don't want to blow this out of proportion, since at the end of the 
day, this is our problem to solve, not yours.

With my kde developer hat on I say pick what you think you need to do in order 
to deliver what you consider the best experience for the user. If that means 
relying on an external library, then so be it.

With my slackware packager hat on I say beware that additional dependencies 
could mean decreased availability of your application.

In the end it's your choice to make which one outweighs the other :)
