Hi,
We're shipping QtSpeech in OpenMandriva, and I'm pretty sure I've seen a package in OpenSUSE as well.
>From our perspective, having a dependency on QtSpeech is very much preferable over having a dependency on kdelibs4 (which we'd like to retire as soon as possible).
