Searching Subject template data

Hi all,  I have inherited several large slide collections, 10k plus 
each, and I am attempting to process them. Scanning them in is the easy 
bit, collecting any other data is a lot harder.
I have created a load of metadata templates which tell my what sort of 
slide it is and any other information I can glean from the carrier, such 
as the processing date or written comments, etc.
So good so far.
When I look at the caption view, information tag I can see the data I 
have input in the Subjects window at the bottom of the window. great!

My question is how do I search this information,
for example I can see "XMP::Original Carrier:Process Date:06 81"

How do I search for that across a set of slides in an Album?

I am using version 9.1.0 on a windows 10 platform.
