I think your are following a wrong path. Not anybody can read or even 
less modify a spreadsheet in a consistent way.

But anybody have a photo reader and most reader can display metadata.

So you can send photo and ask people to check the content and send it to 
you free form (mail?), then you will be able to change it accordingly
