Lost SQLite and Digikamrc

I am trying to reinstall Digikam after removing it from my computer several months ago. I have reestablished my photo files from my USB backup/storage device. I am encountering two issues as I attempt to reestablish a running Digikam.

1. Upon start up the Digikam program informs me that it can not find SQLite. I have used the OS search system tool and I found the several SQLite files on my system but I do not know which may be operative and how to activate them or were they should be for Digikan to recognize them.

2. Due to the failure of SQLite, I have attempted start a new configuration with the first run wizard but can not find the file Digikanrc either on my system through search or in Terminal and discard it. The Digikam support suggest that it should be in Users/ Operators name/Library/Preferences/Digikamrc but there is no Library in Users/Operators name/ so I have searched other Libraries but have not found the Digikamrc. I have also attempted to find and remove Digikamrc through Terminal but that search is unproductive as well.

Any guidance will be appreciated and as I am computer illeterate and elderly such guidance needs to be in simple format. Thanks
