Does Facial recognition work on RAW files?

Hi,

Yes, RAW image data are extracted and passed to the face engine as
other file formats. Detected regions from the image are stored in the
database and can be stored in the XMP sidecar if the relevant settings
are turned on. The recognition process do not depend of the image data
as the detection stores fingerprints in the database. This last one is
used by the DNN to process the recognition stage.
