digiKam Overwrites XMP Sidecar when "Write Metadata to Files"

Hi Chai,

I'll reply again in the list so others can follow. Thanks for the sample 
image. I can't reproduce the problem with creating a sidecar using this image. 
Is it possible that a sidecar is already present during the import?
