Repositioned face rectangle makes a copy

Hi Tom,
If you move or adjust an existing face region, then the new information should be saved.  You shouldn’t get duplicate regions.

I’ll take a look at this tomorrow (it’s getting late here).

This is for digiKam 8.6.0 under Windows 11. When I drag a face box to another position in the image it works just fine. But if I leave the image, then return to it, the face rectangle I moved is in its new location, but also in its old location, creating a duplicate tag. Is this a bug or a feature?
