digikam crashes after start due to missing file for face detection

Hi,

i do not use face detection, aesthetic detection or auto tags and do not
intent to do so. The respective entries in the config dialog for download of
required files are unchecked and i did not download any of these files.

Still, on startup, DK 8.6 Appimage wants me to update the face detection.
If i agree, it crashes due to the missing files. How can i disable face
detection completely so this dialog on startup does not appear again?
