Face Recognition Keeps Re-launching 8.7.0

Hi Carol,

It sounds like an issue I ran into as well. I had to uncheck Misc >
Behavior > Enable background face recognition scan. The tool tip says "Set
this option to automatically start a new background face recognition scan
when a new face is tagged."  I don't see that item documented at
https://docs.digikam.org/en/setup_application/miscs_settings.html#scan-operations
but it does appear in that screenshot.
