Problem with 8.5 (Mac)?

I have found that Version 8.5.0 crashes repeatedly if I try to delete tags (particularly for multiple tags).  I reinstalled 8.4.0 and deleted the tags with no problems.  Is this a bug?

 Hi Ronald,

Under Settings -> Configure Digikam you should be able to make a list of directories to ignore.

This approach has worked for me for some folders I'm not ready to manage in Digikam yet.

Is there a way to remove a folder from a collection without rebuilding the collection or actually deleting the files from my drive?  I want to retain the folder on my external disk, but have Digikam ignore it and its contents.
Many thanks!
