misconfiguration dk 8.5 - nfs & NAS ?

dk 8.4 on Gentoo

dk 8.5 on MacBook Air

collections on the NAS with mariadb.....

the problem is using dk 8.5 with the MacBook isn't working... I can see 
the previews, tags etc. but I can' t download the files from SD-cards 
and write to the NAS, load from the NAS for develpoping... the MacBook 
seems to work, but never loads or writes....

Using Gentoo works fine for years....

I have a few questions:

- I think, dk 8.5 on OSX knows the collections from dk 8.4 on Gentoo. 
Are the urls stored in mariadb?

- I can see the mounts of my collections in Gentoo (/home/user/Fotos) 
and in OSX (/Volumes/Fotos) in dk 8.5 on the MacBook. Is ist possible to 
use the same paths to mount the collections?

Working with darktable on OSX with files on the NAS is fine. So I think, 
I have a problem in the configuration of dk 8.5 on OSX. Any hints where 
to look? I am working with Gentoo for over 10 years. OSX is new to me, 
so I am unsure what to do.....
