How to exclude .lnk shortcut from reading by Digicam?

Hello!
I keep a database of a pair of cameras in two differences folders, and when photos were taken on the same day, I create a .lnk shortcut in both folders for each other. How can I prevent Digicam from reading this .lnk? adding «-lnk» to MIME exceptions didn't work.
