I did some experimenting with one of my computers.
1 - uninstalled digiKam with Gear Lever.
2 - Uninstalled Gear Lever, which is a Flatpak.
3 - downloaded a fresh copy of digiKam 8.5.
4 - in Dolphin I selected the digiKam download, in the Information panel
the Title is shown as showFoto
5 - installed AppImageLauncher
6 - installed digiKam with AppImageLauncher
7 - digiKam installed with the correct icon\title in the menu.
When I talk about the Title being labelled as showFoto I am not referring
to name of the file but the Title field within the files metadata.
I realize this is a small matter and may be caused by my own system, so I
apologize for taking up your time. Thanks for responding.
