iPhone video colours are wrong on Mac silicon

I was using DigiKam version 8.5 on MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1.
On this version I tried every permutation of the settings “Use the software OpenGL rendering”, “Use the OpenCL hardware acceleration” and “Decoding backend to render video”, but I saw no improvement.
Then I upgraded digiKam to the latest weekly pre-release of version 8.6.0 (Build date 23/02/2025 18:39) and now the video plays fine using the default preferences.

BTW: if you still need a sample video let me know how I can upload it...
