Migrating to New Computer

I am migrating to a new computer.  I have already moved all the picture and video files in the same exact directory structure as the old computer.

I haven't been able to find a definitive description of what I have to do to complete the transition.  Can someone point me to the appropriate documentation for completing this transition?
