XMP metadata in database ?

Hi everyone,

I became a new digiKam user last week, and I would first like to congratulate all the developers who have given us this wonderful, incredibly efficient open source tool.

One of the many reasons I am so pleased with digiKam is that the SQLite database is accessible and I can run my own SQL queries to export data (it would be even better with PostGreSQL, but I see that this request has already been made and that it is not so easy to implement).

I have a question about accessing the XMP metadata of photos. Can you confirm that this metadata is not in the SQLite database?
I would have liked to query it in SQL, but I don't think that's possible.

To be more specific, I use a DJI drone that records this type of metadata in XMP:
 FlightPitchDegree : -9.20
FlightRollDegree : -1.60
FlightXSpeed : 5.0
FlightYawDegree : +0.00
FlightYSpeed : 0.0
FlightZSpeed : 0.0
FocusDistance : 5132
GimbalPitchDegree : -90.00
GimbalReverse : 0
GimbalRollDegree : +180.00
GimbalYawDegree : -179.80

They are clearly visible in the Metadata > XMP panel, but I couldn't find them in the database.
If this is not possible natively, is there a way to integrate this metadata into the digikam4.db database?

Thank you for your advice, and long live digiKam!

Sylvain M
