DigiKam Automatically Face Scanning

Hi,

Yes, this features have been introduced in 8.7.0, and problem have
been already reported. The option in Setup/Miscs panel have been
disabled by default for the 8.8.0. Go to this configuration view and
turn off the checkbox :
