Move digiKam catalogued albums from one partition to another

Hi,

I'm planning to move my digiKam catalogued albums from one partition to 
another.
Does the database contain the absolute path relative to the photos or 
relative to the album?

Is there any risk of losing the cataloguing data by moving the root of 
the album containing the others to another partition?

The database is not in the album, but in /home/benoit/.digikam_db/.
