Digikam cannot display pictures

Hi,

The problem has been reported and it's relevant to the libheif shared
library which must be the version 0.18 or later.

In fact, Apple has activated a few new features with the iphone 15 which
needs time to be handled by the library.

The digiKam bundle 8.4.0 does use an older version of libheif. The problem
is fixed with the pre-release 8.5.0 available here :
