Hide versions created with "save as new version"

Hello Maik,

Thank you for your reply.

My question is not about changing the behaviour of that button in digicam but 
more about how to make so that the pictures (the one for which I used "save as 
new version" by mistake) are linked as if I had clicked on "save changes".

I was looking for some guidance on how to do this either in the GUI or by 
manually changing records in the database or any configuration file somewhere. 
Doing so would be easier than having to reapply each filter on each original 
picture and save the changes with the other button.
