This is for sure the easiest and fastest way. But, while the command 
"convert" at present still works, it is deprecated in ImageMagick7. You 
can now use "magick" instead of "convert".

(I don't know if ImageMagick is installed on Win, Mac etc. by default, 
but it can be installed easily almost everywhere)
