how to add copyright in RAW

Hi
I'm trying to include the tool "apply metadata template" in an existing
batch to be run on a jpeg in order to add a copyright , but seems the
copyright is not added in the jpeg
In the template I just set the copyright field and I was expecting to
see it in the metadata (using the metadata menu from the right sidebar)
Did I miss something?
regards
frederic
