What does "Sort items by face type" mean?

Wow. This is highly counterintuitive.

It would suggest having a way to sort by how likely a given person matches
some person.

It does not matter if it is the right person. Just that two photos is the
same face would be sorted such they appear roughly together.

I suppose there is some internal similarity score that determines how
likely a match is for a given person. Let us sort by this somehow. 😊
