Hi,

When I start Digikam on my Mac I briefly see this error message flashing

Why do I see this error?

I already have ExifTool installed:

$ brew install exiftool

==> Downloading https://formulae.brew.sh/api/formula.jws.json
######################################################################################################
100.0%
==> Downloading https://formulae.brew.sh/api/cask.jws.json
######################################################################################################
100.0%
Warning: exiftool 12.76 is already installed and up-to-date.
To reinstall 12.76, run:
   brew reinstall exiftool

How do I fix this?

About the error and the UX:

I really love DK it is a pure open source gem. However, this UX pattern
of flashing scary looking messages briefly is pretty bad. It took me
like 5 digikam startups to actually be able to read this as the message
is only shown for 10 seconds. DK takes probably over 30-60 seconds to
start up on my mac. So keeping attention while just watching the splash
screen is difficult. Then when it finally appears, this message is only
flashed for 10 seconds./
/

/Please/ do not just flash a seemingly important message for only 10
seconds without even providing the user a way to keep the message up
(there is only a close button).

Preferably, either decide if the message is important or not. If it is
not then do not show it. If it /is/ important, keep the message available.

It is unclear from the message text what this actually means. I am a
fairly technical user and I have no idea really. I know what exiftool
is, but I have no idea if DK actually /needs/ it - or if it relies on
its own internal libexif or similar if external exiftool is not available?
