If you used digiKam a long time ago, you has set up an external MySQL server
database for digiKam. If this server still exists, you just need to adjust the
parameters, network address, username, password. If the server no longer
exists, the best thing to do is to start with a new digiKam configuration. To
do this you have to delete the “digikamrc” configuration file.
You can find them at:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\
