Hang occurs when attempting to add a Network Share

Hello,

I have a windows network share I am able to connect from a laptop running Ubuntu. I installed Digikam 8.1.1 and I am attempting to add a network share collection. After selecting the folder, using the native dialog OS window, Digikam stops responding. Is this a known issue?
