Looking for a procedure or guide to compiling digikam 8.2 for debain 12(Bookworm)

Hi,

It's simple. checkout code from git and install the dependencies :

https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/-/blob/master/project/scripts/installdeps-ubuntu.sh?ref_type=heads

when it's done, run the bootstrap script from root directory :

https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/-/blob/master/bootstrap.linux?ref_type=heads

go to build subdir and run make command as described in stage 3 from this page :

https://www.digikam.org/download/git/

Voilà
