DK 8.5.0 for Apple Silicon still needs Rosetta

Hi all
Im trying to do a new install of digiKam 8.5.0. on a new iMac with Apple silicon.
When I run the install package it attempts to install Rosetta.  
I’ll choose not to do that and the install package exits. 

The package Im trying to install is digiKam-8.5.0-Qt6-MacOS-arm64.pkg  
 I downloaded from both the Princeton	and MIT mirrors,   file specs check out.

Im installing on an Apple M4 iMac (new) with macOS 15.2

Not really interested in using the intel simulator.. Any guidance appreciated
