unwanted face recognition feature

Hi
I never use face recognition, i disabled all i could to get rid of it
but, when I want to preview full raw image (human head) after clicking
thumbnail, this message appears with a square "who is this?".
Is it a bug or a new feature ? If it is a feature, i think it should be
only optional.
