Select starred pictures easily & thumbnails

Hello,

Is there any way to filter starred pictures in a folder without having to
"search" for them?

When I want to see only those pictures that have stars I can only go to
Search, create a filter so to get them listed, which is not very user
friendly for such a usual operation.

Couldn't we have an option within the menu that opens when you right-click
on the folder name? There I see "Scan faces" which is not run, by far, as
usual as listing starred pictures.

Likewise, is there any way to list folders with/without Thumbnail? I use it
to quickly see which folders have already been reviewed (much more visible
than having color flags) but then I can't get folders listed by that
Thumbnail (have/not have), or at least not that I'm aware of.

Or, is there anyone having a different technique for getting both needs
above fulfilled?
