[digiKam-users] Multiple Windows clients setup/compatibilty & profile loading

Hi all,
I have to questions.

1. Multiple MS client / window environment & compatibilty

I have found this link,

which is recommending to change settings in
Settings->Configure Digikam->Metadata->Advanced

I assume this is still recommended? I just wonder, that thia is not 
mentioned in the 8.1.0 documentation...

2. Loading Profile for installation
Is there a chance to place a pre defined / custom adapted profile file 
in the digikam client installation path to ensure that the recommended 
setup, as described under 1. can be configured automatically by a script 
during installation?
