DigiKam crashes after startup assistant

Hi Maik,

I will try to do my best, as i'm not at home for this long WE in
France. My Macbook pro is here anyway.

Dominik,

In MacOS LaunchPad, starts the system "Console" log viewer to see if
something relevant to digiKam is visible in a log entry while the
application enters in an infinite loop.
