DK not adding new pictures until umounted drives

I was using ext4.

DK did everything local. I used the appimage of the various version. I 
had those issues with snap before, being able to look outside the usual 
spots.


thanks for giving it a look Gilles.   I'll see if I can reproduce this. 
Just a very odd "bug".
